According to legend, at midnight on Halloween, Death comes to Awaken the dead to dance the “Dance of Death” until the rooster calls at dawn and the skeletons must return to the grave until the following year. “Danse Macbre” and “The Aquarium” by Camille Saint-Saens are combined with Modest Musorsky’s “Night on a Bare Mountain” and “Songs of Dances of Death” to tell this haunting legend.
